Vegetable Haikus
This week for CSA news the Red Dog crew wanted to share some haikus inspired by the CSA share. A haiku is a three line poem consisting of a 5 syllable, a 7 syllable, and another 5 syllable line in succession. We hope you enjoy!

So named because of the tree
Funny leaves delight

The slugs think so too

Glist’ning hakurei
Early peach of the green house
Bursting with crispness

To me green onions
Resemble a troll, buried
Just hair you can see

Rainbow Chard
Oh so colorful
Smoothies and stir-fries abound
When you are around
