In these golden valleys
the days have arrived,
when the sun illuminates the world
long before I open my eyes.

When the air is filled with promises
of abundance in all things;
the fruit hangs low,
and the birds live to sing.

Fields fill with ripening bounties
and calloused hands working together,
to bring our cherished community
a rainbow of earthly treasures.

Reds and greens abound,
In our red ripe berries and sugar snap peas.
Taste buds delight
in our red Batavian lettuce and Italian parsley.

Looking to spice things up?
Make a salad with power greens!
Anything will go well,
But may I suggest our fresh garlic and violet kohlrabi?

These days are ones of shimmering waters
And long lasting light.
Moments gone too quickly,
And bellies full of produce done right.

Our gratitude is endless
For these glistening summer days,
Our hardworking crew,
And all who enjoy Red Dog’s CSA!
