Our Produce
We are certified organic with Washington State Department of Agriculture as well as Salmon-Safe certified. If you would like a copy of our certificates, please ask.
We grow over 100 different varieties of produce annually, with most items available for wholesale purchase. If there is an item you are looking for, please let us know. We try new crops every year and are always open to hearing your suggestions.
Our seasonal produce guide, which predicts the produce for the coming season, is available each spring. Our actual produce availability is based on weather, yields, and a variety of other factors. The guide is simply our “best guess” of what the year looks like.
Fresh Sheet
We send out a weekly fresh sheet every Friday evening for the following week. Sometimes, especially during the main season, an updated mid-week fresh sheet will also be sent. Be sure you are ordering off the correct fresh sheet, as our availability changes often.
We are happy to add as many email addresses as you like to our weekly fresh sheet. Email office@reddogfarm.net with any additions.
Fresh sheets are sent from a distribution list and often land in spam folders. Please add sales@reddogfarm.net to your contact list to more likely ensure they land in your inbox.
Ordering
Minimum Orders
We are happy to do half cases, but please no smaller increments. Invoice minimum is $100. Regular accounts who need an occasional smaller order, please ask. We do not want you to run out of product!
Order Deadlines
We harvest all our produce to order so we need sufficient time to process your order. We can occasionally accommodate late orders. Please never hesitate to contact Karyn with a late order, we will do our best to meet your needs. However, we very much appreciate getting orders in by the following deadlines:
Sunday midnight for Tuesday delivery
Thursday midnight for Saturday delivery
Confirmation
We will always confirm your order by email, informing you of any shortages and confirming your delivery day. We cannot guarantee a phone confirmation.
Delivery Areas
The farm delivers to Chimacum, Hadlock, Port Townsend, and Port Ludlow (see delivery schedule below).
To send orders farther, we partner with Key City Fish Company, who can deliver our produce to Bainbridge Island, Seattle, Whidbey Island, Port Angeles, the Kitsap Peninsula, and more. To get delivery to these areas, you’ll need to contact Key City directly and set up an account with them (info@keycityfish.com, 800-617-3474). You’ll place your orders directly with us, then we coordinate delivery with Key City. We will invoice you directly for produce, and Key City will invoice you for their delivery fee.

Payment & Terms
Payment
- We accept mailed checks, credit/debit card, Venmo, and ACH.
- We no longer accept cash or check on delivery.
- All checks need to include the invoice number.
- For Will Call, you can leave your payment in our Farmstand money box (on the left wall as you walk into the Farmstand). If you pay in cash, your payment must include the invoice number.
- If you let us know that you’d like to pay by credit card or ACH, we will send you a payment link where you can pay online through the payment processing service Melio. These links will be sent when we email your weekly statements and/or invoices, usually on a Tuesday or Wednesday. Note that Melio charges a 2.9% processing fee for credit cards, but no fee for ACH payments.
- Venmo payments will incur a 2% processing fee.
- If your account is not kept up to date, we may assess a finance charge.
Terms
Our general terms are 15 days. We are happy to make exceptions if your organization requires it. Please state clearly on your application the terms that work for you. If at any time you want to request a change of terms, please let us know before you fall behind on payments.
We are happy to extend a $500 line of credit OR a maximum of three open invoices (whichever comes first) to new accounts until a good credit history is established.
Red Dog Farm reserves the right to assess a finance charge to overdue accounts.
Accounting Contact
We send a paper invoice with each order. We are always happy to email invoices, monthly statements, etc. as needed. If you require more than the paper invoice that comes with the order, just let our office know. For any questions regarding your account, contact Office Manager Rachel Covault at office@reddogfarm.net or (360) 531-2571.
Reusing Boxes
We love to take back and reuse Red Dog Farm wax boxes. This saves us money, helps keep our prices low, and allows them to be used a couple times before ending up in the landfill. If you would like to return our used boxes, please let us know where at your business to find them. If we deliver to you, we’ll pick them up the next time we make a delivery to you. If you get delivery through Key City Fish, we’ll arrange for Key City to pick them up.
Connect with Us
Available for Meetings
If you have any interest in meeting with us to share your needs and wants, discuss products, ordering, deliveries, etc. we would be more than happy to set up a time to meet in person or on the phone.
Come Visit the Farm!
Anytime throughout the season, we welcome you to come out for a farm visit. We would love to show you our operation and give you a chance to see where your food is grown. We’d be happy to lead you and your staff and/or family on a walking tour of our greenhouses, fields and facilities, including tasting some fresh produce direct from the fields. Contact us to schedule a visit.
Cross-Promotions
Let us know how we can better promote your business as a supporter of Red Dog Farm. We update our website’s ‘Where to find our produce’ list every couple months and we are happy to write Facebook posts sharing your successes and news. If you have a new website or have news to share, please keep in touch.
Menu Recognition
We are always honored to be included on your menu. We just ask that if you claim that a product is from us, please ensure that it is! If you prefer to purchase seasonally and don’t print new menus frequently, consider a note such as “when seasonally available”.
Thanks for your business and support of Red Dog Farm! We look forward to growing together with your business!
